About Polar Thermal Products
The Aerotrim Group founded over 20 years ago by managing director Paul Harrison, specialises in two major areas of innovation, design and installation of vehicle interiors and the manufacture of specialist thermal products.
Firstly the company has built a reputation as specialist vehicle interior designers, upholsterers, and finishers for a wide range of aircraft interiors, luxury yachts, classic cars, restaurants and Formula 1 racing motor homes.
The Second facet of the company, Polar Thermal Products, is based around a growing product range utilising Polartherm™, a unique thermal insulation material developed by scientists at NASA.
Polar Thermal Products now includes innovative, insulated transport packaging for blood products, food, vaccines, pharmaceuticals, fine chemicals and many other specialist applications.
For the military market, Aerotrim has developed portable field fridges and cold rooms (used in the Middle East). We are now a MOD main contract but also distribute through our associate specialist organisations, Hawkmoor of Exeter and KBR.
For the air shipment of pharmaceuticals the company has developed tailor-made insulating liners for LD3 and LD9 airfreight ULD containers. These are used by a number of companies including AstraZeneca between Switzerland and the UK.
